NO NEED TO PANIC | IN DANGER OF BEING TRAMPLED | |||||||||||
|
If you’ve watched or read anything in these Ezines, if you’ve begun to explore the simple facts that explain why our lives can be so stagnant, if you have begun to understand how you can get your mind working for you rather than against you, or if you are already well down the not-well-enough-trodden path of personal growth, then you already appreciate why it is so important to grab life by the balls and start living it to the full in the here and now – and you also appreciate just how life threatening it would be not to embark on that journey. But, oh my God, how difficult a journey it can be. I think it was Jesus Christ who said that you will find your life it you stick to the straight and narrow but that the vast majority of people take the easy option of the wide all-too-well-trodden path. And you and I are surrounded by all these easy-option-ers! They’re everywhere you look – they are the people who want you to get involved in today’s juicy piece of gossip. They are the people who want you to compete with them. How big is your car? Where are you going on holidays? And there’s the inverse weirdoes – someone told me recently that they couldn’t tell their closest friends that they were taking their usual annual skiing holiday for fear of standing out from a crowd that was cowed by economic collapse! It is so difficult to stand out from the herd – but stand out from it you must or you’re in danger of literally being trampled to death – having the last spark of get-up-and-go, the last breath of adventure, the last vestiges of who you really could be extinguished by this horrible clawing desire to conform. Conforming will kill you – it’s killing you, your loved ones and your friends as we speak. Time to stand up for who you really are and make a difference – it might just make the difference. |
