It could be something as simple as buying fresh flowers to rejuvenate your boring living room, something as innane as not checking your emails when you feel compelled to do so. It's attention to detail that develops attention in general - and shifts the axis of your life.

Are you plagued by useless thought - including thoughts that you might be useless! So-called "Self-Improvement" requires that you still that noise in your head and come to your senses - when you do you will realize the true power of being present in the here and now...

Useless thoughts (I'm bored, I'm stupid, I'm shy) cloud your mind, stop you being your very best. But they are just thoughts and they bear no relationship to the reality of life that is before your very eyes if you'd just open them. You, as a responsible adult, can choose not to pay attention to your useless thoughts. Instead, you can learn to pay attention to reality. And it's simple, all you've got to do is see, feel, hear, smell and taste it.
