Take a moment to ask yourself this seemingly simple question. If you discover that you're stressed, worried, hassled, annoyed (it's a long list!), understand that your mind is playing tricks on you. These are simply some of the 50,000 pieces of daily noise in your head that you've chosen to pay attention to.
Choose to pay attention to something else. Close your eyes for a few moments and notice the way somebody seems to have turned up the volume. But the only thing that's changed is you and what you've chosen to focus on.

FRUSTRATION
People regularly tell me that they're frustrated... by their work, by the 'system', by the demands of others, by their lack of progress.Sound familiar?
If frustration is getting in the way of you doing your very best then, firstly, you've got to isolate the perceived problem. If you're frustrated by something that you cannot control, forget about it! Get on with your life. If you're frustrated by a particular person, let them know that they're behaving in a way that's less than appropriate - they need to know.
But if you're frustrated at your own lack of progress or your own lack of effort or focus then, not only is this frustration wasting your energy, it is actually ensuring that you will never progress or become focused. Because, above all else, frustration is a useless thought and useless thought gets in the way of doing.
In other words, if you're frustrated about something that you can control, get over yourself, get a life and take control... nobody else will.
