Give yourself thirty minutes of 'me' time today. Get out of your normal environment. Find somewhere to sit down and simply watch the world go by. Let your mind daydream - which is quite different from letting your negative thoughts drag you off down some dark alley and mug you. Let your mind settle on the kind of good daydreams that might just say to you... this is how life should be. WIthout some 'me' time, you'll never look after your own state of mind.

A number of clients have asked me over the last few weeks if I could recommend some reading to them. Did you know that there's a whole section on this website on recommended reading? You'll find it here. That said, here are my top three recommended reads:
Flow - by Tony deMello
The Miracle of Mindfulness - by Thich Nhat Hanh

EFFORTLESSLY
One of my longest standing clients first turned up at my two-day workshop - some seven years ago - having been attracted by the notion that one could achieve success... effortlessly. Understanding that you've got to put the work in to be a success, he was intrigued.
I often explain to people that one of the sure signs that you've hit a golden seam of flow in your life is that you have an extraordinary amount on your plate or, to put it another way, you've loads of plates spinning all at the same time. The tell-tale sign that you're in flow is that none of the plates are smashing... and that you're actually enjoying the ride.

So, here's the key question. How do you feel about what you've got on your plate? Are there not enough hours in the day? Are you getting stressed out about it? Or, with a clear mind, could it be that you could even be doing more to get where you want to go in life... effortlessly?

If you want your ideal life, you have to do things differently, take new actions and, above all, discipline your mind. Then you can cultivate the clear and present state of mind that will create your ideal life...
