Take care that, in everything that you do today, you act rather than react. A split second's reflection preceding everything that you do will be suffcient to enable you appropriately reflect on what you must do next. Action will change your world. Reaction will perpetuate the mess into which we've got ourselves.
Looking back through recent Ezines, I've noticed that it's been far too long since we've had a story - a true story - about the bizarre behaviour of so-called normal people. And here's one that I cannot resist to pass on...
One of Europe's leading sports companies is currently building its global design HQ a couple of kilometres from where we live. It's a huge site and a vast amount of work has been done on the initial floors - reinforced concrete that will be eventually covered tastefully in local wood - giving it that Alpine look.
But, in recent weeks, the site looks deserted. And a friend has just told me why.
We live in a seismic area - building regulations require 'double' foundations - even for a domestic property. Having poured thousands of tons of cement, someone discovered that the whole complex is sitting on standard foundations and - yes, you've got it - the whole thing is going to have to be taken down to be started, from the ground up, all over again.
What is that that they say about a good start being half the job?!
Today's Reflection
BODY AND SOUL
Your body is constantly feeding you back a vast amount of information. It's only when the wheels really begin to come off that you notice that sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach, that sick feeling that accompanies a bout a nerves, that tense nervous headache. And it's a very rare - and very successful - business person that is in tangible touch with what we call our gut instinct.
We need to become more mindful of the subtle signs that our body is providing us - subtle signals that advise us on what is right, wrong, best, expedient, healthy or unhealthy. Being in touch with your own body is a sure sign of flow - that state of mind, indeed, that state of living, to which we should all aspire and which, in reality, is only onw thought, one heartbeat, away.
So, starting today, begin to tune into what your body is telling you - how you feel after eating certain meals or partaking of certain drinks that might raise your spirits in the moment but blur that all important clear mind of yours. Take care to ensure that what you're doing feels right - particularly when it comes to making important decisions.
You are one - where the dividing line is between body, mind and soul is debatable. But one thing is for sure - your body is telling you more than you currently care to hear.

DEALING WITH DIFFICULT PEOPLE
We've all got difficult people or situations to deal with in our daily lives. The trick is to deal with them before they become difficult! However, to do this, you need to be more attentive to what is actually happening in the present moment than the normal person is. In doing so, you will notice inappropriate behaviour before it gets out of hand and be up to the task of saying what needs to be said in the nicest possible way. Read the full article...
