SURFING LIFE'S BIG WAVES
Daily life is full of challenges. But these are not the real challenge of living - the real challenge is within. Are you up to coping with what life throws at you? Because, if you think you're not, it's got nothing to do with what's going on in your life - it's all down to how you react. You've got to stop reacting and start taking real action - the kind of positive action that will change your life. How? Well you must set out each morning properly prepared for the day ahead.
All too often we fall short of what we want to achieve. All too often we fail to do the things that will move us forward, opting, instead, to waste our time doing things that make us feel wanted and needed but which are, actually, of no damn use in the greater scheme of things.
If that weren't enough, we then compound our perceived laziness by feelin guilty about not doing what we know we should have done. And, over the years, I've met many people who appear to take some sort of perverse delight in explaining how guilty they feel - and much more guilty they know they will feel on the basis that, having decided that they really are going to do what needs doing and, having failed again to get up off their ass and do it, they'll feel even guiltier.
Unless you've really damaged someone else, their life or their wellbeing, guilt is an aboslute waste of time. Guilt is a pair of handcuffs, a sort of personal bondage - and I also know people who seem to like that!
Liberate yourself - clear your mind - learn from what's gone and then focus on the present. Now is where what needs to be done needs to be done. Do it.
